WHO AM I?

My name is Umesh Walwaikar. I am a 49 year young guy who lives in Borivali, Mumbai. I have been doing photography professionally since last 26 years. 

HOW DID I GET HERE?
After my studies, my parents bought me my first film SLR camera. While learning how to use it, I would go out in nature, and take pictures of flowers and landscapes. I did that so often that I ended up broke buying film and processing photos! So I started doing some events photography to cover those expenses. And here I am 27 years later still doing it and still loving it.
Through the years I have also had a chance to venture into Industrial, Interiors, Jewellery, products etc.

Now after many years in this field, I am working towards capturing "the moment" and being as unobtrusive about it as possible. So I have made weddings, fashion, sports, and people my main focus.

MY PHILOSOPHY --
Every wedding is unique. The goal is to capture the moment in a way that every time you look at that picture, it takes you back  to that very moment. To relive it. I like to work closely with each of my clients to understand their needs and wants, and be able to capture the moments as they see it. I want to be able to bring a smile to my clients’ faces every time they look back on their photos… even years after they were taken!
